SXKT Flame Settings for Room Lighting

Use Quiet, Social and Feature as written room-lighting notes. Record the setting shown by the delivered SXKT and coordinate each scene with sightlines, circulation and safe operation.

Designing with flame: three SXKT scenes for one room

Plan adjustable flame alongside the room’s lighting.

Most lighting plans separate task, ambient and accent light. A real flame belongs in that conversation too. The current SXKT reference listing describes 20 flame levels through the remote and onboard rising display. Confirm the controls on the ordered unit, then record its displayed setting during handover. Treat that setting as an operating reference, not a measured flame height or calibrated heat output.

Start with the room, not the maximum flame

Before changing the flame setting, stand at the principal viewing points. Is the flame reflected in a television? Does a bright downlight flatten its colour? Can guests move safely when decorative lighting is dimmed? Correct those relationships first. A larger flame cannot repair an unbalanced lighting scene.

A useful commissioning habit
Create three named scene notes on a simple handover card: Quiet, Social and Feature. Record the setting shown by the delivered unit, plus the lamps used in each scene. This is a written record; it does not assume the appliance can save or recall presets. The exact visual effect will vary with the room, so test it on site.

Quiet: low-key fire for conversation

Use a lower approved flame setting as a gentle accent for reading or relaxed conversation. Pair it with warm, indirect light and keep strong luminaires away from reflective metal and glazing. The aim is presence, not spectacle.

Social: a balanced everyday centrepiece

For a group setting, try a medium flame setting permitted by the supplied instructions and check the fireplace from every seat. Use the controls demonstrated for the delivered unit. The current SXKT-001 includes a Chinese/English Android App with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection as standard; Bluetooth is not supported. Confirm the supplied software version and controls before relying on phone or network operation.

Feature: visual drama with circulation intact

A higher approved flame setting can strengthen a long feature wall during a reception or showroom event. Keep paths, changes of level and exits adequately lit. Review heat-sensitive finishes, artwork and furnishings with the project professional rather than relying on appearance alone.

Important operating boundaries

Atmosphere planning never replaces the product manual. The public KT user manual (2026.08 FINAL) describes fuel heating and vapour generation normally taking approximately 3–15 minutes before automatic ignition, followed by flame stabilisation. Allow each adjustment to settle as instructed before recording a scene, and remain with the appliance during operation and shutdown until the flame is fully extinguished. Approved fuel, filling, starting, stopping, cooling and fault handling must follow the manual applicable to the delivered unit; never fill or service a hot or operating unit. Ventilation, clearances, enclosure materials and local rules should be confirmed for the exact installation.

Use the technical resources guidance to match the model, supplied controls and manual revision before applying operating instructions.
