Fuel-consumption references.

Read each supplier reference with its model, unit and stated conditions. L/h and L/(m·h) are different measures.

Understand the units.

L/h describes fuel consumed by a specified unit over an hour. L/(m·h) is a length-based reference range. A tank-capacity value in litres describes storage volume, not hourly consumption, allowable fill quantity or guaranteed runtime.

Model consumption

Check the supplier model and the complete configuration attached to an L/h value. Confirm the flame setting, fuel and test conditions before applying it to your order.

Length-based range

Keep a per-metre range labelled with its original unit. Multiplying by a catalogue length gives a planning calculation, not a measured value for that exact burner or flame setting.

Electrical and thermal power

Flame heat output and electrical input are different. An adapter’s output capability is also different from measured continuous electrical consumption.

Supplier source values.

The examples below are transcribed from the supplier worksheet. Fuel consumption and burning power are reference values, not measured or guaranteed heat output for a delivered unit. The worksheet does not record fuel composition, flame setting, ambient conditions, test duration, measurement method or a technical test sign-off. The public excerpt preserves the source RX/KT model names; they do not establish a mapping to every current SX delivery configuration.

Version 1.0 identifies this excerpt, not a technical version declared by the source worksheet. The worksheet gives reference notes in rows 4, 28, 42 and 55; no test conditions or source technical version are declared.

SXKT range and conditions.

The SXKT Detailed User Manual, version 1.0, gives 0.8–3 L/(m·h) as a reference range. It does not provide a verified consumption result for each SXKT-001 length and each of its 20 settings. Keep that original range and unit; request the data applicable to the selected size, fuel and operating setting rather than presenting a multiplied length as a test result.

Measurement and fuel-cost details.

For a project estimate, request the exact configuration, required fuel, operating setting, starting and ending fuel quantity, run duration, ambient conditions and the date of the measurement. Follow the model’s fuel and refuelling instructions; an estimate does not set a safe filling quantity.

  • Exact model, size and delivered version
  • Fuel specification and operating setting
  • Starting and ending fuel volume, and run duration
  • Test conditions, date and technical confirmation
  • Local fuel price, package volume, currency and price date
  • Applicable model instructions for filling and cooldown

Questions.

Can the reference table predict the runtime of my delivered fireplace?

It does not establish a guaranteed runtime. Confirm usable fuel quantity and consumption under the actual model and operating conditions with the supplier; tank volume is not automatically the allowable filling quantity.

How can I estimate fuel cost per hour?

With a confirmed consumption value, multiply litres per hour by your dated local fuel price per litre. Keep currency, package size, taxes and delivery charges explicit. This page does not quote a current local fuel price or a verified cost per hour.

Can I compare KT and RX using a single universal consumption value?

Use model-specific references with the original units. KT’s per-metre range and the RX supplier model values have different evidence and missing conditions; they are not a controlled comparison test.
