Not necessarily. The live SXRX instructions require complete extinguishing and full cooldown before any fuel is added.
A four-stage cooldown routine
1. Stop

Keep the unit supervised and undisturbed until fully cool.
3. Check
Do not rely on appearance or a guessed universal waiting time.
4. Refill
Use only the specified fuel and the manual’s filling procedure.
