Ethanol fireplace inserts.
An ethanol fireplace insert can mean a bare burner or a more complete framed assembly. Identify which parts you need before comparing dimensions or prices. This guide helps you select the supply; individual model pages hold the product configurations.
Discuss your projectBare burner, framed unit or separate shell.
Bare ethanol burner insert
The burner is coordinated with a surrounding structure. Confirm the top plate, body, support, operating mechanism and any supplied glass separately.
Framed fireplace assembly
A frame and enclosure can define the visible opening. Confirm whether the selected quote includes the burner, glass, supports and finishes.
Separate fireplace outer shell
The listed outer shells are supplied without a burner. Match the shell and burner through an approved complete-assembly review.
Select smart or manual operation.
The insert shape does not determine its controls. Choose the operating family before coordinating access: SXKT Smart, SXRX Smart or SXRX Manual. A manual insert needs access for its supplied lid or tool. A smart insert needs the controls, connections and service route specified for that model.
Separate the panel, body and opening.
Record the visible panel or frame, the burner body and the required installation opening as different dimensions. Include glass height, supports, usable depth and operating access for the complete configuration. A nominal 1200 mm product name does not define a 1200 mm cutout.
Can an ethanol insert use an existing fireplace?
An existing opening needs its own review. Provide photographs, measured finished width, height and depth, surrounding materials and the condition and former use of the fireplace. Ask the responsible project professional to assess the structure and the selected appliance requirements. Fitting inside the old opening does not establish an approved conversion.
- Identify the exact insert and all parts supplied with it.
- Record the finished opening and complete installation space.
- Check support, materials, ventilation and required clearances.
- Preserve filling, operating, shutdown and service access.
- Obtain the current model drawing before altering the opening.
Compare the same complete supply.
Use a model reference and list the burner, frame, glass, finish and ordered controls. Add the installation country, quantity and delivery destination. Keep unresolved dimensions or component compatibility as questions for the written quotation; do not infer them from a scene image.
Questions.
Does an ethanol burner insert include a frame and glass?
Only where they are explicitly included in the selected supply. Identify every component in the quotation and use the drawing for that complete assembly.
Can any alcohol fireplace insert replace a wood or gas fire?
No universal conversion is established. The existing fireplace, selected insert, instructions and local project requirements need a specific review before alterations.
Are biofuel and bioethanol insert labels a fuel specification?
No. Use the approved fuel for the exact appliance. A general product label does not establish fuel compatibility, concentration or permitted additives.
