One round flame. Several ways to experience the room.

The SXRX-Y-007 offers a circular smart bioethanol burner with a cylindrical glass configuration. Planning it as a room centrepiece means considering views, movement and the complete assembly together.

360° fireplace design begins with seating, sightlines and movement. Plan a shared focal point early in the project.

The practical starting point: draw the room around the intended viewing experience, then verify the selected burner, glass, surrounding construction, controls and installation requirements. The circular outline is a design opportunity, not a complete installation specification.

Begin with the people who will use the space

For a private lounge, think about the seats people use most often. For a reception area or hospitality project, also think about arrivals, staff movement and furniture that may be rearranged. A round smart bioethanol fireplace belongs where those patterns support it.

A centrepiece can connect several seats without creating a full-height divider. A position closer to the room perimeter may provide a quieter focus while leaving the middle open. Sketch both options before deciding. Include a clear operating position and space for the clearances specified for the final configuration.

Plan views from the seat, not only from the camera

The familiar hero photograph shows one carefully chosen angle. A 360 degree bioethanol fireplace plan asks what the feature looks like from every important approach: the sofa, a reading chair, the entrance and a secondary lounge zone.

Use a full-size outline to check the visible height against seated eye level. Review whether the glass interrupts a view through the room, reflects a bright window or falls behind the back of a chair. These are aesthetic checks that complement—not replace—the technical installation review.

Four dimensions to keep separate

The SXRX-Y-007 combines a round smart burner with cylindrical glass, but the product listing calls for the glass arrangement to be confirmed for the chosen configuration. Keeping four dimension groups separate makes the project brief easier to price and build.

A compact project decision sheet
Decision What to record
Burner base Select the actual product option. The current base references run from 500 × 250 mm to 1200 × 250 mm in eight options.
Glass Confirm diameter, height and mounting. The current listing records a cylindrical-glass diameter limit of 300 mm.
Surround Record the visible plinth or enclosure, its finish and how it supports the appliance.
Installation Use the approved model-specific drawing for the cutout, complete assembly, clearances and service access.

The base option is not a cutout size. Nor does a larger base reference establish a proportionally larger glass cylinder. For a round fireplace with glass, the proportions of the finished assembly matter just as much as the nominal burner size.

Make the circulation work when the room is occupied

Trace the actual walking routes on the plan. People should be able to move between seating, doors and adjacent rooms without using the fireplace perimeter as a shortcut. Review the arrangement with chairs pulled out and movable furnishings in their likely positions.

A circular ethanol burner has no single visual front, but it still has practical access needs. Confirm the permitted installation arrangement, support and level placement. Keep required clearances intact when planning loose furniture, curtains and decorative elements.

Specify the operating package before closing the enclosure

The current product information identifies SXRX-Y-007 as smart. Wi-Fi and App control are not currently available on SXRX. Record the exact supplied panel, remote and electrical requirements for the selected model; do not assume an adjustable-flame package.

Then draw the access route to the parts the owner or service professional must reach. Coordinate control use, fuel handling, electrical connections and the panels that need to be removable. Finishes should allow the inspection, cleaning and servicing required by the appliance instructions.

For a shared or managed space, decide who will operate the feature and where that person can check the burner area. A control method should suit the intended operator and room layout; connectivity alone does not resolve the operating plan.

Close the technical questions before the design is signed off

Bring the selected SXRX-Y-007 configuration into the technical review, together with the floor plan and surround drawing. Confirm intended use, ventilation, support, clearances and the final installation instructions with the qualified project professional and relevant local requirements.

Follow the specified fuel and operating procedure. Never add fuel while the burner is lit or hot; allow it to cool fully. Glass is part of the assembly and may become hot. Do not infer safe-touch performance or reduced clearances from a photograph or from the presence of a glass cylinder.

A clear project brief connects design to delivery. Ask for the burner size, complete assembly dimensions, glass specification, supplied control package and service arrangement to appear together in the written quotation and approved drawing.

Questions designers commonly need to settle

Is SXRX-Y-007 a manual tabletop fireplace?

The current model-specific listing identifies SXRX-Y-007 as a smart burner. Do not substitute the operating instructions or installation assumptions of a visually similar manual tabletop model.

Does the glass cylinder define the size of the whole appliance?

No. The glass and burner base are separately coordinated. Confirm the full installed assembly rather than reading its dimensions from the image.

Can a fireplace centrepiece replace a room divider?

It can provide a visual focus between seating zones, but the layout still needs circulation and model-specific installation review. It does not create a physical separation by itself.

Which smart-control features should be included in the brief?

Identify the exact supplied panel and remote controls, then ask SXFireplace to confirm the model-specific functions. Wi-Fi and App control are not currently available on SXRX. Avoid assuming other optional functions are standard.
