Five things to hand over with an SXRX manual burner
Installation is only half the project. The operator also needs the correct tool, documentation and a safe, repeatable routine.
The simplest fireplace controls are often the most physical. The SXRX Stainless Steel Bioethanol Burner Insert uses a sliding lid and includes a dedicated hook tool for flame adjustment and extinguishing. Because the operator directly controls that mechanism, a thoughtful handover matters just as much as a clean installation.
Begin with a two-item inventory
The current Shopify product record lists one 304 stainless steel burner insert and one flame-adjustment/extinguisher hook tool. Before sign-off, verify both items and photograph their agreed storage location for the project file. The tool should be available to responsible adults without requiring anyone to reach across the burner.
Show the lid movement with no flame and no fuel present. The supplied manual—not a generic online routine—should govern filling, ignition, adjustment and shutdown.
1. Identify the installed model and size
The live range currently contains seven 300 mm-deep, 115 mm-high variants with lengths from 400 mm to 1000 mm. Record the exact ordered variant and product URL. This prevents later confusion when drawings, invoices and finished joinery use different naming conventions.
2. Check the operating path
Move the hook tool through the intended approach while the burner is cold. Furniture, trim, glass and decorative objects must not force the user into an awkward reach. The sliding lid should remain visible and accessible after the room is furnished.
3. Let the owner teach it back
A good handover is not a one-way demonstration. Ask the owner to locate the tool and manual, identify the lid positions, and describe when refilling is prohibited. Correct misunderstandings before the first live use.

5. Separate product features from site approval
The burner is marketed as drop-in and chimney-free, but the completed installation still depends on suitable non-combustible construction, ventilation, clearances and applicable local requirements. Never fill a burning or hot burner, and do not move or service it during operation. Follow the exact manual and qualified local advice.
