One nominal length.
Different construction openings.
Record the nominal length, visible top plate and construction opening separately for each linear ethanol fireplace model.
Three models, three openings
Figures transcribed from the named installation drawings. All dimensions are in millimetres. These are examples for these exact models, not a general cutout standard for bioethanol fireplace inserts.

Read the section, not only the top view
The RX1000 drawing shows a 400 × 20 mm bottom ventilation opening and a right-hand 220 V outlet location. KT1200 also shows a bottom ventilation opening and a right-hand electrical outlet, but its bottom opening has no dimension in this drawing. Its “2 KW” electrical label should be checked with the manufacturer and electrical designer before it becomes a project specification.
The RX1200S drawing instead calls for the opening perimeter to be sealed and identifies the manual unit as 304 stainless steel. It does not show the same electrical or ventilation details; that absence is not a general exemption for other products or installations.
Each drawing calls for non-combustible installation materials. The RX1000 and KT1200 views also mark space above the fire; the exact project clearance must be checked against the current issued drawing and proposed enclosure. Do not transfer a clearance, air opening or power detail from one model to another.
Before the fabricator cuts
- Model and revision: identify the ordered model, configuration and date of the manufacturer drawing used for coordination.
- Three separate dimensions: show the visible top plate, rough opening width and length, and required depth. State which callouts still need a tolerance decision.
- Section details: locate support, non-combustible finishes, any specified ventilation opening and electrical outlet without covering the service or operating path.
- Release point: have the supplier, designer and fabricator confirm the final drawing before stone, metalwork or joinery is cut.
The RX1000 PDF filename bears a 2024 date, while its drawing title block shows 2023-07-07; the other title blocks show 2024-07-15 for KT1200 and 2021-06-09 for RX1200S. Those are version clues, not proof that any file is the latest production revision.
