One quiet minute before ignition
A repeatable visual check helps the operator notice what has changed since the burner was last used.
The SXRX Stainless Steel Bioethanol Burner Insert is manually operated with a sliding lid and supplied hook tool. Its simplicity makes the pre-use routine easy to understand: confirm that the appliance is cold, the operating path is clear, the fuel area looks normal and the room is ready before introducing a flame.
If you see a spill, leakage, damage, obstruction or any condition not covered by the exact manual, do not light the burner.
The six-point visual sweep
Confirm the previous flame is out and the appliance has cooled as instructed.
Look for debris, distortion or anything blocking its intended movement.
Place the supplied tool where it can be reached without leaning across the burner.
Check for visible spills, leakage, residue or an unusual smell.
Remove loose paper, textiles and other items from the required safety zone.
Confirm ventilation, supervision and site conditions match the instructions.
Why the lid and hook tool come first
The current product record identifies the sliding lid as the means of flame adjustment and extinguishing. The hook tool is included in the package. Finding it only after ignition can encourage hurried movement around an open flame, so make tool location part of the pre-light sequence.
Look beyond the stainless-steel surface
The live listing identifies 304 stainless steel as the primary construction material, but a clean metal surface alone does not establish that the whole installation is ready. Check that nearby decoration, furniture or stored objects have not moved into the protected area. Use the exact drawing and installation instructions—not appearance—to confirm materials, clearances and access.
Fuel check: visual, cautious and cold
Never refuel while the burner is operating or hot. Keep the fuel container closed and away from ignition sources, and use only the fuel and procedure specified in the supplied instructions. If fuel is visible outside its intended area or conditions seem unusual, pause and obtain guidance rather than attempting ignition.
“Ventless” still requires room planning
The listing describes the SXRX insert as chimney-free and ventless. That does not mean ventilation, room suitability or local requirements can be ignored. Before use, confirm the space can be operated as described in the manual and that responsible supervision is available.

| If you notice | Safer next step |

| Lid obstruction or damage | Stop and consult the supplier |
| Unclear ventilation or clearance | Confirm with product documents and qualified professionals |
What a one-minute check cannot replace
This routine cannot assess hidden construction, internal integrity, regulatory compliance or every site-specific risk. It is a practical layer beneath—not a substitute for—the manufacturer’s manual, approved installation information and local professional requirements.
